NASCAR returns to Talladega Superspeedway this weekend with a Monster Energy-Camping World Truck Series doubleheader to top the racing calendar that includes the K&N Pro Series West, Whelen Modified Tour, and sprint cars in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Motor Racing Network – “The Voice of NASCAR” will open its coverage from Talladega on Friday with both Monster Energy Series practice sessions, at 1 and 3 p.m. (ET). Saturday’s slate will kick off with live coverage of the fred’s Pharmacy 250 Powered by Coca-Cola Camping World Truck Series race, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Grant Enfinger is the defending winner. The MRN broadcast from eastern Alabama will be anchored by Mike Bagley and Dan Hubbard.
Later Saturday, MRN will air live coverage of Monster Energy Series qualifying at 4 p.m. to set the field for Sunday’s Alabama 500. Martin Truex Jr. won the pole last year but finished 40th in the race, sidelined by engine failure.
Then on Sunday, Motor Racing Network’s exclusive radio coverage of the Alabama 500 will start at 1 p.m. (ET). Joey Logano is the defending winner while Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was victorious in this year’s first visit to the 2.66-mile oval on May 7. Sunday’s MRN broadcast will be anchored by Joe Moore and Jeff Striegle.

Elsewhere, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West will run the Toyota/NAPA Auto Parts 150 Presented by TriCo Welding Supply on Saturday at All American Speedway in Roseville, Calif. The Whelen Modified Tour ends its season with Sunday’s Sunoco World Series 150 at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park.
The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series is in Port Royal, Pa., for the Nittany Showdown on Saturday then moves to Weedsport, N.Y., for Sunday’s Empire State Challenge. And the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions will compete in Mansfield, Ohio, on Friday before running its season-ending UNOH Sprintacular on Saturday at Eldora Speedway in New Weston, Ohio.
